Debbie Goode Nature and Wildlife
Artist Bio

I grew up in Lafayette, Indiana and spent most of my life there. I have been married over 30 years to my most darling husband and best friend. We raised one child there, a son, Samuel. My husband and I and our two wire fox terriers (Cosmo and Belle) currently live full time in our fifth wheel rv and travel extensively through out the United States. It is an Artist dream to say the least. My favorite subjects are nature, wildlife, and the “not so wild” wildlife. To see where we currently are "hanging our hats" and what we are up to check the link to our travel blog.

I can’t say that I have always known that I would be an artist. I have always loved art and seemed to excel at it, but never thought of pursuing it as a career. It was not until the birth of my son that I started to explore my creative side. A friend invited me to take a painting class with her at a local art shop. I did....and as they say.....the rest is history. I’m proud to say that I eventually taught art to others at that very same art shop. I enjoyed teaching and my students taught me more then I could have ever taught them.

The art shop eventually closed, but I kept painting. I kept painting for 28 + years...loving every stroke of the brush!

I have no formal training....no fancy art degrees....I just love to paint.
